YourAIPick reviews AI content detectors and humanizers. The goal is simple: tell you which tool to use for your situation, and be honest about where each one falls short.

How we test

Every tool in our guides goes through the same process:

• Same inputs, every tool. We keep a fixed set of test passages - fully AI-written, fully human-written, and AI-assisted-then-edited - and run all of them through each detector so the scores are comparable.
• False positives matter as much as detection. A detector that flags genuine human writing is a problem, especially for non-native English writers, so we track how each tool handles known-human text.
• Humanizers are re-checked. After running text through a humanizer we read the output for meaning drift and grammar, then run it back through the detectors to see what actually changed.
• Prices are verified monthly. An automated check reads each tool's official pricing page every month and flags changes for review, so the numbers in our guides stay current.

How the site makes money

Some links to tools are affiliate links. If you sign up through one, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. We only write about tools we have tested and would use ourselves, and the commission does not change a tool's rating or its position in a guide. Where we think the free tier is enough, we say so.

On humanizers and ethics

Humanizers have legitimate uses: improving the readability of AI first drafts, and correcting the false positives that detectors regularly produce on human writing. They should not be used to present AI-generated work as your own where that matters - in particular, academic submissions. Our guides are written for the legitimate use cases.
